Can anyone give me some information on the use of brass shot shell?
Pro? Cons? Shot patterns with over the shot wad cards? Question
Thanks,
Rich

Are you going to load them with Black Powder or Smokeless?

Several years ago I fooled with some REM/UMC best as well as some Alcan (Fiocchi?) brass. Smokeless powder. I had good luck with them and patterns were just fine for woodcock. Other than using them for the few shells I'm likely to use on any given woodcock excursion they are a LOT of trouble. If you like the novelty, by all means try them but prepare to spend a lot of time at your loading bench.

Used for cowboy action shoots. Cause if you're using a period gun(s), clothing, etc., you wouldn't be caught dead using purple plastic shotshells, now would you?

Shotgun Digest by Robert Stack, 1974, chapter 7, part C, may have what you are looking for, including modifications to a press to handle the change in primers size.
Load data is difficult to find.
