I have just finished the awards inventory for my portion of the program [World Vintage Skeet Championships] for the National Classic Shotgun Festival to be held May 18-20th at Chicago's Northbrook Sports Club.
We will have shooting events for shotgun fans of ALL skill levels. NSSA has supplied awards which will be distributed on a Lewis Class basis. Tony Galazan's and C.S.M.C. has supplied $250.00 catalog gift certificates for door prizes in each skeet event.
We will have 50 target skeet events for all gauges [including the 16 gauge], Hammer Guns, and Game Guns! I think you will be satisfied with the pricing structure as well.
The host club will offer Sporting Clays events in all gauges as well.
Programs are available on-line, or send me a pm with questions.
I hope that you will have the opportunity to drop by and say hello. |

I joined the low pressure group to get some info on a good 16 gauge skeet load and will be testing the results of my loading this weekend. I am planning on shooting the 16 gauge event at the very least. |

Hal:
The dates are on my radar screen and I plan to be there if at all possible. If I get there I will shoot at least the 16, 20, 28, and 410 ga skeet events if all goes as planned. I will probably shoot the 16, 28, and 410 in the sporting clays events too.
Which hotel will you stay at? Going in Wednesday or Thursday?
Forgot, but what is the deadline date for entry?
thanks.... |

hoashooter-
No problem with your entry.
bustingclays-
I am staying at the motel suggested in Libertyville. A decent facility and close to the club.
all-
There is no deadline for entry, but I think early entries will eliminate your waiting in line at the registration desk. We will have some special awards for the 16 gauge event courtesy of the 16 Gauge Society! |

I appreciate your offer but as I am a member of the Northbrook club and live 10 minutes from the club a mailer won't be necessary. |

I think I'm going to go. I live north of Rockford, IL so I its almost a requirement! I will probably shoot 16ga and 28ga SXS and maybe .410 in sporting clays.
Sounds like a lot of fun.
If you enter in three events do you put in for the Lewis Class purse option 3 times? |

Ralph-
Glad to hear you will be joining us. In the Skeet Events, you will be automatically entered in the drawing for the $250.00 Galazan gift certificate and be placed in the Lewis Class for award distribution. |
