Saw a few 16's, most were pumps and autos. A nice Sweet 16 with a short stock. Saw a Nitro and a Fulton, both in nice shape (the Fulton was probably nicer) in the $500-$550 range. Nothing I couldn't live without. Saw 525Field there but he was buyinga rifle !

Dennis,
I bought a 20ga Stevens years ago from that guy; he seems like a good fellow and his prices are pretty reasonable compared to most. That Marlin is a beauty; have fun with it!
I thought long and hard about a little Stevens Favorite I saw; I've always wanted one, and Bill Headrick's article in the last DGJ whetted my appetite. Not much condition but an OK price. That's always the problem I guess; I'm not willing to pay the "high condition" prices, and there're not many "deals" at these shows any more. In the end I decided to hold out for a better one.
I went home with a buttplate I needed for a Fox Model B, and a bottle of Old West Snake Oil; total expenditures, $19.00 .
