Starting bid $3,100.00, Buy Now $3,200.00.
Pistol grip stock w/single trigger. Seems reasonable if you like the specs.

Well, someone liked it and got it for the opening price. This one had the upgraded SS trigger and a very nice piece of walnut to my eye. Any of you Merkel guys know what the SS trigger group adds to the price? How about the wood? Is that one a decent piece. I don't know too much about the Merkels, but this one might have got past some folks here. |

The SS trigger is not an upgrade. It is standard on the pistol grip stock version. The double triggers are standard on the English grip stock.
The wood is a nice piece. Of the 2 Merkels I have, the new one is very similar to that piece, the older one is plain in comparison.
That's not a bad price for that condition and including the hard case. They are no longer included in the purchase of the Merkels. |

That was a good, fair deal. Not a steal, but fair. |

I agree with Birdswatter---I've got a 1620 with a single selective trigger and great wood---I'd need a little more than $3,100 for mine...mine came with the hard case which is in as new condition... |

They come and go. Keep looking. They are not rare, just expensive. |

WC,
I've got 2 and will be adding another one this year. I think it's time for a .410.
