Okay -for the engineers in the crowd how does 900 BAR convert to PSS in shotgun tubes? No, check that. I don't really give a damn how the conversion is made, just want to know what 900BAR is in PSI, for pressure considerations for loads

Thanks

Correct Wink 1 bar = approx. 14.5 PSI
900 x 14.5 = 13056

It's a bit more complicated and I STILL don't fully get it (but no one ever accused me of being the sharpest knife in the drawer Rolling Eyes )

You can converts bars to psi by multiplying x 14.5 (there's a small fraction involved, but close enough for govt work--or reloading) . . . BUT you first have to make sure that the bars in question are transducer bars, not crusher bars. If they're measured with the old crusher system, then you're converting to LUP, not psi--which means that, to get a ballpark equivalent, you have to add about 1,000 to come up with the psi number.
