Was doing a search for some shells, comparing prices at different online dealers and everybody is going up on everything. Best price I found on 16 ga. ammo was on the Nobelsport Hunting 3 1/4 dr. eq., 1 1/16 oz. of 6 or 7 1/2 shot. Just wondering if any of you guys have tried these out yet?

Hi berg,
I have shot a lot of them and they perform well on birds and clays, but I don't think they are necessarily a light load.... I have shot them in actions that I know can take "normal" (up to 11,500) pressures.... they are really reasonable price-wise, but I don't know where they are made, or what their pressures or velocities are. They are fine for pumps, autos, modern shotguns, but I'm not sure how they'd treat vintage doubles.... maybe I will send some to Armbrust, unless somebody knows whether or not he has already tested them (I'm talkin strictly 16 here)...

I've been shooting them for a few years. I get them from www.gzanders.com. I have not had any problems with them. |
