Old Hunter I started looking for that weight gun at about 20 years old LOL

Woodcock I will be making only 1 receiver size, sorry about that but the time involved in tooling up for the one size certainly does not warrent a second size Smiling , but you can have what color metal you want , SST. Blued Steel, Alum, or it you want the extra 3% weight reduction over Alum. Then you can have a Titanium but have to say at an increase in price not propotional to the weight reduction ,

The Mills dont care what gets thrown in them so as you set the correct speeds and feeds to the material your cutting . your choice....

and soon as I get the stripped receiver back I will be able to tell exactly what I can make an Alum. Model 90 weight will let you know I am curious as well wish I had thrown it on the scales before I gave the parts to Lee to map out ( oh by the way he has stopped on the prints for the time being , Boeing has him working 60+ hrs a week and I am not going to push him to get it done, that was the agreement when I ask him to map the gun out so I will be patient and wait till they are done in good time , am busy with the wads for now , will get that going and by then perhaps I can start tooling up for the receiver . Have to keep the bills payed dont you know before I can play on the hobbies .

Charles,I would have fainted if you had told me that a 28ga. was possible.
The Al frame will be interesting--issues of balance, recoil, etc. Can't wait.
Oldhunter you shame me but I'll just have to take it. My group averages 12+ miles per day after Gray partridge and by mid afternoon I'd really prefer to have someone else carry my gun. Wink

Old Hunter , great knife I enjoy that as well have not dont that for 20 years or so but certainly enjoyed making them and one of these days I am going to find the time to go back to school and learn Blacksmithing as well and make some Damascus knives as well , Oh one of these days when I get the other projects done LOL.

Woodcock you want a 28ga, well that is what I also will offer as a combo set you can have your choice 16ga , 20ga , 28ga . but no 12ga not going to make another frame size, one is enough to go crazy over let alone 2 sizes , but no I am not going to do the .410 frame LOL you might talk me into putting the bbls on the larger action but no dedicated frame for either it or the 12ga too much work there to ask for that LOL

Great pics of New Mexico!! I have been to the Prescott National Forest around Cottonwood, Arizona in December/January. There was snow at elevation and we did find birds (Gambels) up in the draws just under the snow line. Got into the 20's at night but up in the 50's or higher during the day. Great little birds-real track stars!!!
