| New to this forum after having discovered the joy of a 16 ga. I currently own an 870 in 16 and have been seriously looking for a sxs. Today I drove down to the Cabela's store in Dundee Mi. to see what they had. What they had was a Ugartechea/Ave 16 ga box lock,case hardened reciever, double triggers and 28" brls. The trigger guard tang was stamped AOC/AVE. Anyone have an idea what model this is? It looked identical to a #1, the stock had some nice figure but was rather dark. The gun felt very good and the price was 2599.00 but I'm very curious as to the AVE designation. The gun is NIB. Any help is appreciated. |
