We shot some clays today in an empty bean field . I was the old fart with my 1950 model 37 16 ga , then my son and four of his friends all between 18 and 24 years old .
all of the youngsters mentioned at some point in the day they had never shot a 16 ga before . So I made sure each one of them got a turn to shoot a few shots through the old 37
every one of them had a big grin on their face after taking a turn with the 16 ga .
It probably wont change any of their thinking from the 12 and 20 ga guns they use , but at least 5 more young men got to try a 16 and they all loved it . so at least the seed was planted |
