Hey Guys,
Thanks for the good wishes. It is indeed tuff being short. I am as nervous as Nancy Pelosi in church. I lost two of my buddies over here, one with 5 days and the other with 17 days to demobing. I am fortunate to be dispatching at Camp Striker these last weeks which is better than being in the Green Zone or driving with the surge going on. It is going quite well though. Our troops are finding tons of weapons caches and if they can cut the supply to the bomb builders the IEDs will stop and we can really lean on the enemy.
I spoke with my son this morning and he thinks flying out to meet you guys is a great idea. I used to eat at Louie's on the Peer in New Bedford years ago when I hauled meat to Boston. I wonder if it is still there. It would be great to hunt with you guys and have supper at that joint. Patrick and I are working on this. Give us some options that don't interfere with wrestling season and we can make it.

I can take care of lodging - I'll rack on the couch and you can get the bed. |
