I read on Shotgunworld that this ammo is gone. They finally ran out. Crying or Very sad

I got 2 cases which will last a while. I've used some on pheasants already. Works well.
I'm waiting to get some nice weather so I can actually pattern it but it appears to hold a pretty tight pattern if I judge by the way it hit some of the birds, even with an open choke in.

Cascade had some good deals on close-outs, so I thought I'd get the most for my shipping $$$ by buying another 2 flats. I already have 3. I placed the internet order Saturday late afternoon. I got an email confirming my exact order a few minutes later. However, 1 hour later I got another email indicating all those close-outs as quantity ZERO. I replied that if my order could not be completed in its entirety, then cancel the whole order. Monday my credit card was charged for the total order. I finally got a reply Tuesday night to the effect that Candi had never seen that snafu before, but my shotshells were on there way anyway. WTF??? I made a long distance call to Roseburg, Oregon the next day, asking if my email request to have all or nothing, was ambiguous. Seems Candi took a personal day Monday and the shipping dept. shipped what was in stock. Nobody reads emails except Candi. Who, by talking to her, must be blonde. In any event, I refused the 2 flats and was credited fully to my credit card. Even the shipping charges. So I didn't get screwed just a bit aggravated at their on line order\inventory software and how they handle problems. I never got an apology for what was not my problem.

Britgun. I don't know what the pressure is, but i would recommend only using them in the second barrel. I went up to the pheasant run this morning and forgot the sixes I bought. Only had the pmc 4's. No going away shots. Put out four pheasants, training the pup. Came home with one sided breasts on all four birds. My first barrel is cylinder and all the shots were from 25 to 30 yards.Pup is doing well for 6 months. GSP/ lab cross. Not pointing yet, but flushing birds and retrieving. He doesn't oner my pointing lab yet. Got to work on that. [img] [/img]
