Does anybody have reloading information on black Remington hulls?
I would like a light load (7/8th of an ounce,) low pressure, low velocity.
All of the commercial 16 gauge loads I've tried are much heavier than I need.
Thanks very much for any help you can give me.

Check the new Lyman manual or go to www.hodgdon.com for loads. I found a very nice load there. |

Hey PP, after this weekend we need to hookup again for another day of clays shooting. I've got about another 500 or so for you. |

I looked at the Hodgdon site and the only 16 gauge shell mentioned was the SP is this the same as the black Remington?
Thanks for the response. Pete |

Yep - the same recipes will work for either the green hulls or black - Now there's a very old translucent green hull but they are no longer available as new hulls.
Gents, please correct me if I am wrong with this info. |

Thanks,Sproket,
I've seen quite a few loads for the SP Hull, I didn't realize that the black Remington was the same.
That helps a lot.

Are the 16 gauge European wads from Ballistic Products and the 16 gauge European wads from Precision Reloading the same? Or if not can they be loaded with the same recipe?

OK, by then I'll have about 7-800 reasons for you to sit down at the reloading bench again. |
