hello just regestered been checking it out 4 awhile though.Ive got a stevens 5100 16ga SxS 4 sale gerat wood case color is gone though barells r good shoots great full/mod asking 250$ locally also a nother but not a 16 |

Someone looking for a solid, inexpensive shooter ought to buy this; good price if condition is reasonable. I've got three of 'em, and my 16 was my go to gun for years. The 5100's are basically the same as the 311, but the designation was discontinued in the late 40's which means you get a nicer gun than the later Stevens offerings. Despite the connotation of the Stevens name, every bit the gun a Nitro Special is. IMHO, of course !

no thats what was on it when i bought it ive seen a web sight that sells replacement stocks and forearms in both beaver tale and splinter possible its been replaced before i bought it |

the wood is not cracked the forearm is checkered i sanded the checkering out of the stock 28 inch barrels no dents and locks up very thight |
