than the one listed below (given its problems), IMO--except, although the address on the barrels is Paris, it's a Belgian gun. Marked "C. Mode a Paris". Under 6#, straight grip, chambers opened to 2 3/4". Wood very nicely redone. Some light "staining" in the bores, but this one's good and tight. DT/extractor gun, quite a bit of scroll engraving. Cabela's in Owatonna has it, asking $1600--expect $1400 cash would take it. I don't recall the chokes. Friend of mine bought it originally, had a chance to speak with the original owner--or at least original American owner--who liberated it from a Gestapo office in WWII. No photos on their website. |
