Gentlemen:

Before Hal beats me to it (by revealing my scores in some of the skeet events Wink ) here are some highlights from my trip to Northbrook and the vintage sxs shoot:

1 - I met Hal (again - we shot here in 2005), his friends Mark Douglas and Bob Horn and Bob's WIFE Cheryl (not Hal's wife) and scatrgunr

2 - I shot 700+ rounds at some great targets (note I did not say I broke 700 targets Wink )

3 - I broke 229 out of 300 in the vintage skeet events (next year I will have a hammer gun too - I shot all gauges except a 12 gauge, shooting my 20 ga in the 100 bird event)

4 - I won some lewis class metals in the skeet events

5 - Mark and Cheryl finished my bottle of port when I stepped away from the registration table (next time I will have 2-3 bottles from Vinter's Cellars)

6 - I broke 83 targets with the 16 grade III sissytori on the green sporting course - good for second in the 16 ga

7 - I broke 70 targets with the skb 383 28 ga sxs on the green sporting course - finished 4th in 28 ga

8 - watched some old friends and new friends shoot skeet on a field with a 16ga.com banner on it (pictures coming soon) - too Cool

9 - I won the raffle for a Cabela's "bullet proof" takedown shotgun case

Did I mention I had great time Wink Northbrook is a great club (even the rain late Sunday afternoon did not dampen the fun for me).

Seriously - next year you gotta attend......

No problem--we understand that things happen. Hope we can work out a future date,
