Ithaca web site is advertising 12 gage only for 2006. I wonder if this latest Ithaca will last long enuff to produce a 16 gage?

Look at the bright side... they haven't even updated the web-site for "07 yet.

Duh, my hearing started going a year or so back, I can't read the fine print anymore, and now my mental faculties are apparently slipping.

I hope the new Ithaca can last long enuff to produce the 16. A M37 16 with a ringtail forend is on my wish list.

I, for better or worse, have acquired three (yes, three) Ithaca Model 37 pumps in 16ga.. The first was one of the first 400 that was an Internet special. When I went to the factory (I live in Buffalo) to pick it up, it had the worst piece of wood I have ever seen on an Ithaca. I asked what could be done about it and was told we could make it into a Supreme Grade. I did this and had them put an English stock and small checkered forend on it. This may be the only Supreme ever made like this. It has a 24" IC choke barrel.
When they upgraded the Classic, I bought 16ga. number two. It has simply gorgeous wood and I, also acquired and extra English style FE for this gun. It has a 28" CT barrel.
After Ithaca went out of business, I found another of the first 400 on the Internet at a great price and bought that also. I managed to crack the stock before even firing the gun and have had it customed restocked with fantastic wood. It is PG, Eng. FE, 26"bbl CT.
Do I really need 3 16ga. pumps? We all know the answer, especially since I have an ICD 4ES 16ga. with 2 sets of barrels that I shoot lights out. It is one of a "matched pair", the other being a 28ga.
