Has anyone tried reloading the Baschieri & Pellegri 16 g hull? Anyone bought or shot any? I see their green box F2 (1280fps) on the web at $63.00 w free shipping. Thanks!

Be aware, B&P's flat is 8 boxes (200 rounds).

Rizzini---The wad for the B&P hull is available from Precision reloading. Probably BP as well but I can't say for sure. I worked up some 1135-1165fps one ouncers for them using SR4756. Can't tell yet about hull longevity. The 16ga. reloading group may have more information but there wasn't much last time I looked.
In my opinion dealing with Kaltran-Pettibone is a PITA compared to purchasing from B&P's previous dealer and I've registered my complaints with B&P-Italy.

I shot some #8's in a couple rounds of sporting clays and thought they did fine but they seemed to kick pretty good. According to the tables they are over 3 Dram equivalent. I prefer a 2-3/4 Dram or lower 1oz load for targets. I think it would be a fine hunting round though.

I have not reloaded them.

I have had good luck with orders from B & P. In fact, Lisa in their order department is most helpful. She helps with substitutions as all the shells on the website aren't currently in stock.

I bought a flat [8 boxes] of their 16's for skeet. The 1 1/16 loads are great hunting loads--but stout for 50-100 skeet targets.

I really like thier 7/8 ounce 12 gauge shells.
