Does anyone have experience loading 2 1/2" shells on MEC reloaders with 2 3/4" dies? Can it even be done ? Thanks for your input.

It's kinda hard to do without the short kit. All the short kit does is raise the shell about 3/8" for the last two crimp stations. Short kit will not work on a progressive MEC. You should be able to load 2-9/16" hulls on a progressive with the adjustments available. |

Thanks Dave
My 16g is 23/4" so 29/16 is no problem. Im starting to accumulate a large number of 21/2" polywad shells and would like to put them to use.
Again Thanks
