After doing some extensive pattern and velocity testing, I have decided that the R-16 wads are not doing what I want in light loads. I have 4,250 left out of my original order of 5,000. These were from the first order from Recob's.
If anyone would like to purchase these, send me a PM. The price will be $5.00 per bag of 250 + shipping or $16.00 + shipping per 1,000.
Let me know.

That's about half the price you'll pay for them at Recobs. |

Gentlemen,
Thanks for the prompt responses. I will be contacting those of you who sent PM's with the details.
All of the wads are spoken for.
Again, thank you for the prompt responses.

brdhnt,
once things settle down with you shipping and all could you be so kind to elaborate a bit on what your testing showed? I.E. "not doing what I want in light loads" I use 7/8 loads almost exclusively and may switch to 3/4 and have an order of R-16's sitting at my bench too.
I haven't gotten around to patterning but It's on my list of summer projects. Low gun skeet accounts for 99.9% of my 16 ga. reloads and I've used both the 20 ga. Gulandi's and R-16's a lot. I'm real curious if one is signifigantly better than the other or not.
Thanks. |
