I have a late 50's standard weight 16ga with one plain I/C barrel and a plain poly choke barrel. Both barrels are belgium barrels. The Belgium is in great working order. It does show some small dings as I used this as my primary field gun. I bought the gun from it's original owner in 1999. I do not use it enough and it belongs in the hands of a hunter who will use and appreciate this well made antique firearm. It has the original FN butt plate that is a little worm ridden, but I have a original FN plate that is in really good shape. Any idea what it is worth with both barrels and a hard shell case? Thank you and have a blessed day. Smile

Sell the barrel and gun separately and you'll get more $ than as 1 package. The barrel can be sold on eBay.

Which barrel is the original? Is it numbered to the reciever?

The finer points of condition mean a lot but a typical standard 16 ig good shape could range all the way from from $350 to $650.

Thank you for clarifying between antique and classic. I thought 25 years was considered "classic" and 50 years is "antique". I appologize for any misrepresentation. The poly choke barrel came with the gun and I bought the plain I/C barrel a few afterwards. I will check to see if the receiver and poly barrel match. Thanks again for all of your replies.
