I hope that is not true. Last year Kent didn't make any Tungstun Matrix because of cost. At least thats what I understand. If Bismuth is out of the market, that leaves the 16 with only steel as a non tox option. That could be a real set back. None of the major ammunition makers make anything else for the 16 gauge. |

Then it becomes a question of economics, unfortunately. Buy Hevishot from BPI (Much $$$) or get a littleton and convert it to make Bismuth Shot. Then you gotta buy bars of Bismuth and Tin, and get it delivered (more $$$ up front, less $$$ long term).
Hopefully this blows over, and the new owner will still want to make Bismuth pellets available to us little guys.

As much trouble as I had lining out the Littleton for lead I can't even imagine trying to make bismuth shot with it |

He was also the publisher of Peterson Hunting and one of our best individual defenders of the Second Amendment.
