I'd like to have my Fulton SxS checked out by someone who knows old side by eaches. I bought it from a place that offers gunsmithing services, but they work more on "black guns" (synthetic stocked semi-automatic rifles) than shotguns ... they didn't seem to know much about the gun when I bought it. So I'd like to take it somewhere else.
Do any of the many here from West Michigan have a suggestion? |

Batchelder's
Grand Rapids, MI 616-647-4098
I have dealt with them and they are decent. They have a good reputation. It is worth heading to GR to hit Gander and Dicks anyway.

I just had my Lefever 16 ga. Nitro special restored by Bachelders. They did a great job at a reasonable price.

Jim, your from Maryland, and you have a guy in MI. do your gun work?
I'm 30 miles from Batchelders, and I have guns being worked on in Maryland, Wisconsin, Wyoming, and Illinois. |

Dave,
I grew up in Ludington, Michigan and I have a sister in Ada and parents in GR. I was up over Christmas and took my Nitro to Bachelders for a look-see. They gave me a price so I left the gun there and had them ship it back.
The whole deal worked out fine.
I'd use them again in a heartbeat.
