Welcome young man, glad to see someone your age interested in the shooting tradition. We'll all look forward to seeing the pictures.

well hunting is banned in india now however clay pigeon shooting is becoming more popular now . it is hard to purchase british and american makes these days however most belgian and spanish makes are easy to purchase. most of the guns in my family are pretty old . <yes i come from along line of hunters> my grandfather was a hunting nut and in one of my ancestral homes you'll find scores of tiger and leopard skins on the walls along with photographs and deer trophies a tribute to the colonial days in india .<again i'll try to post photos> . even though most of our guns our old they are in good condition although i only use my dads westley richards<15 yrs old now>. thank you for the warm welcome me and all the shots in our family are 16 bore fans.
cheers. |

well in the 1980's hunting was banned in india because it was going out of control . however cull hunts for wild boar and nilgai< a blue antelope similar to the african eland> . well my fathers westley richards is 15 yrs old < a year older than me>. however in my grandfathers house , i was told he has an antique 16 bore however i have never seen it but my father has so i know it exists. once again thanks for the warm welcome. if i can i will try to post pics . but i'm in berlin for a few months and my westley richards is in india however i will take pics on my next visit<this summer>.
cheers. |
