I know this forum does not have a formal feed back thread for buyers and
sellers like many other on line forums. Maybe we don't need one. BUT...
I have to say thanks to " 16gaugeguy" for selling me a beautiful 16ga. Citori. Dealing with him was a pleasure. The Citori was well, if not under,
represented. The price was fair. And the transaction went without a
hitch.
I would certanly put him on the ++++AAAAA feedback/ good guy list
if we had one.

I have to second Rabbitdogs feelings. Back in Dec '06 I bought a 16ga Citori from 16GaugeGuy. It was better than advertised and the transaction was as pleasant as any I've had.
I also have to say that I have had similar experiences with Txshootist and Mike Campbell.
I would not hesitate to recommend these three guys for any transaction, they are all good for their word and pleasant to deal with.
Sometimes I wish it wasn't so easy to deal with these fellas. The gun safe is getting kinda full. |

I have not had the good fortune of exchanging funds for any guns with anyone on this list (yet anyway  ), but I can tell you that I hauled a truckload of ammo out to Russell KS last December to meet revdocdrew and Dirk the wonder dog. I got a real good tailgate deal on some nice 12 and 20 gauge ammo in exchange for some rounds of 3/4 ounce 16s in the rgl black hull that I had reloaded (I hear that rev's elsie loves to digest the loads).
The moral - if revdocdrew offers some ammo for exchange - he's to be trusted  |

Got my Verona 501 from Terry S. Exactly as described, fair price, no problems.
Good gun for the money. After a couple weekends at the club with it, changed the factory pad to a slim Kick-Eez for a better fit, now she comes up sweet and shoots right where I look. A very light gun, so there's some recoil. Won't notice or care in the field, though. Got a Bob Allen Two-Gun Man double soft case from Gamaliel's, and this gun will be the traveling companion for my FAIR 900. Will only have to carry one set of shells, and the tubes are interchangeable, too. Just what I was seeking for the bird season. Think I'll take both of them for a spin next weekend.
Sunday is pasture trap with my bro, and I'm taking the new Benelli SuperSport so he can have some with it, too. Am taking the Model 42 out, too. Think I'll just take two guns, two flats and one bag. I'm getting lazy in my old age.  |

My thanks to Rudy C and Rabbitdog. Frankly, I'm a bit humbled by the accolades. I hope and trust both these men enjoy their shotguns and have a long life of fine hunting with good friends of both the two and four legged kind. In the end, that is what it's all about for us true uplanders; that is what we live for.

I don't know if Tim Frazier posts here; he's a regular on some of the boards. I bought my Sterlingworth 20 from Tim. Gun exactly as described, and a straight up guy. Put Tim on the list...

You can definitely put Brad6260 on that list as well. I bought a very nice Parker Trojan from him, which got me hooked on classic doubles. A stand up guy that I would give 110% recommendation anytime.
I'm hoping to get to go back to Kansas with him this fall. I have a few other guns along with that Trojan that I am itching to try on the wild pheasants.

Rudy,
Thanks for the kind words. It is very important that the person to whom a gun is transferred is happy with the transaction. Being "up front" in the beginning seems to be an indispensible ingredient in a good transaction.
