Hi All,
Any suggestions on good forum devoted to hunting upland birds in general or grouse specifically?
BTW, I am northern Virginia, and plan to try hunting public land in the local mountains for grouse near the Virginia/Maryland border. I've never hunted grouse in Virginia (or anywhere else, for that matter - been mostly a pheasant/duck/deer hunter), so I've been doing some pre-season scouting to locate some good destinations.
Thanks.

I'll give another vote for the Upland Journal site.
Also, pointingdogjournal.com has a variety of things. A lot about dogs and bird hunting. |

Upland journal gets my vote. A lot of good information from some nice gentlemen. No gun snobs out there. |

I've looked at Bird dogs and doubles, Shooting Sportsman Magazine, and Upland Journal. All have been a source of learning, as well as enjoyment. |
