After seeing Erikson's 16 I wanted to see more.
Here's my humble Sweet 16
My 10 year old son really has his eye on this gun, he keeps asking to shoot it. |

I've been keeping my eyes open for one for over a year. Not in any rush and will wait for one in the condition I want. Will post pics, but it might be another year or two.......
Nice guns guys... |

Here is my '51 Sweet. Note the cross block safety. I swapped out the trigger plate for a '53 plate. I find it easier to operate on fast flushing game. I have the original plate and it's a 10 min job to swap back and forth.
I added the 16 ga Parker VHE so you guys won't think I'm narrow minded.
Look at the trigger plate below, it's a rare bird. It is an aluminum Sweet Sixteen trigger plate for a straight stock. One day I'll find the right gun and make my dream Sweet Sixteen, lighter still and straight thtough the wrist.
The best of both worlds.
Jeff

I thought I'd better put mine on this official SW16 picture thread. It's a 1953 gun, 28" plain/matted barrel choked skeet. I think it will get its first skeet workout tomorrow.
