Well, I had to steal the pic(cause I'm not smart enough to post pics), but its the the Slab

Great time with the UJ boys. Wiss, Tjc wife is a saint(putting up with him)
manage to win a 5day woodcock /grouse trip to New Bruswick.
Coveting a Cole 686 20ga pimped gun. Double trigger, killer wood, straight stock, 30" barrels. The Merk and simson may be looking for new homes. (shot both of them margainly, due to Tjc poisoning me the night before.) the hammer , which is only a few years older than TJC, was ripping on Sun's S/C . It made the cut and will remain. as will the sauer and the Lc. |

Brother Hunshatt, what a wealth of photogenic faces! They all look somewhat restive as I'm sure the good food and "aiming fluid" or "tick -be-off" kicked in.
I hope to get over to your neck of the woods sometime in '08 for a combo grouse and woodcock expedition in the great north woods of Maine. I'm in the planning stages now and hope to have it put together before the Glorious 1st.
I've already rubbed shoulders with members of this board as well as contributors of Shooting Sportsman this April past. I'm looking forward to meeting some of you Yankees in future.
Best regards for the coming hunting season! |

Huns - if the Simpson still has a curvey handle, lets talk...
When I get up to Nova Scotia to hunt partridge, I'll let you know if they'll let another yank in the country with a 16 gun... |

If you're dumping the stuff with curvey handles, let me know - not looking to take anything from you and I'm not really sure I could hit with one of those straight gizmos...guess I need to try - I'll drop a line when I'm back and we can go up to Haverhill some Sunday morning |

The Bertram thing is in the weekend plan, weather permitting. Will they let me in wearing a Searay hat? Maybe, I'll leave that hat at home. How will I know you? Are you bringing the dog?
Today, I am going to do a day trip to Cabelas in Pa. with some friends. My first trip to any Cabelas store. Planning to pop my Cabelas cherry. |

Swamp Dog aka Slab, is a good boy. Can't find a bird in a pheasant farm, but a good boy. He had a ball chasing the broken clays and other dogs. Too bad Huns couldn't break too many birds for him to chase.
Sprocket, don't do no straight wood man. I showed ya how the POW grip can outshoot the straight ones. Ask Huns.
Good weekend had by all. Wish more would have stayed for Sunday but hey, we shot 150 rds on Sunday before leaving. |

one bird , shooting your screw in choke, game specific(which you brag how much your always going away to shoot) over a hung over guy that hasn't shot a gun in 6 month, and more so it was some old clunker hammer gun, cause I couldn't afford anything else. hummmmmmmmmmm I might no be blowing that horn to loud.
PGG I'll be the loud drunk guy, oh errrrrrr they are all like that. I'll be the one with the Hatteras shirt on , in a sea of bertrams, with the cute blond, and the slad, who'll be peeeing on everything.
Sprocket, Tjc, would just like to get wood, straight or otherwise. Shoot it before you take it. Besides watching you at the wobble thing, your current one is WAYYYYYYYYYYY to short. |

Say what you like, when the scores are put in the records book it's the ones on top that count.
It "ain't" about winning or losing, it's about being on top.
I need to call ya about your Cole trip. I have a few ideas of my own. |
