Well I called Browning back like the CS guy told me too.
They had to put a new set of barrels on the gun. OK, i figured that was going to happen or a new gun was on the horizon.
Now the funny part. The CS guy today while checking said the gun was out having the gold inlay redone.
I can't figure out why and neither could he, they would send the gun out for this when there is no gold inlays on the barrels. Only gold on the feather is the little bird on the bottom of the receiver and I think the Browning sign on the trigger guard.
He couldn't answer why and didn't want to guess.
So I guess I'll just have to wait until the gun comes back to see what's what.
But at least they are working on the problem. |

I guess I didn't mention I made a call on your behalf. The gold work is my initials, for the house gift your making of it for drinking all my booze next weekend |

I'll bring a few cigars...
Do I need to pre-register for this thing or can I just walk on?
Oh and too bad you won't have the gun for the shoot - what are you bringing instead? |

You can bring cigars for Huns, I don't use them.
I should have the new (used 16ga Citori) that I picked up at Cabela's back from having a pad and mid bead put on.
I'm also bringing the Merkel 1620.
I believe you can just walk on. Should be a hoot.
Hey Huns,
I think NOT on the initials. Besides, you don't even like Sissytoris. |

Ill need a paddle for the boat, if it ever gets back in, and failing that it'd work great as a club. And when it gets left lying around, who ever finds it will know where it belongs |

Phone call to Browning yesterday finds the gun still "out" being worked on. I was told to call next week and they will have an answer from the head smith exactly where it is and what is happening.
The CS people were very nice on the phone. |
