Hello All,
I inherited both a 16 ga. and 12 ga. Herters reloading set from my father this past weekend. They look alot like the Lee Loader for rifle shells.
Does anyone have any experience with these? The adjustable shot dippers are pretty self explanitory, but the powder dippers are not marked and I have a pretty good idea of the use and sequence of the other tools. My biggest question being how is the crimp made?
I am planning on reloading hunting loads only, and most likely non-tox only. Have been reading about roll crimping and figured that may be the answer to the crimp question. Other than that, I figured that I'd probably buy the lee powder dipper set, or use the powder meter I already have.
Also, I shoot a Citori and a couple of old Savage and Winchester single shots, do I need to get a Supersizer?
Thanks. |

Crazy! Any way, just thought this might be a cheaper way of loading shells than running to a buddies to use his press. Thanks anyway. |
