There is one up on AuctionArms that a couple of guys REALLY want. A very nice standard 16 that is over a grand now, 50 bids, with 6 days to go. Yeah it is a nice gun, but wow, that is getting up in the price range of a good Sweet 16. The stock has been cut, with an aftermarket pad and the forearm checkering is a little dinged up. Check it out here

I wouldn't give them $400.00 for it. Confused

Those are excellent photographs and no doubt they are a responsible for much of the madness. Gee, I wonder what my 53 skeet-choked SW16 would go for with a photo layout like that? My SW16 is in better shape than that one with the original buttplate still intact.

This is a very nice gun, it is unusual but nice to see a standard getting the same kind of attention as a Sweet. As a Sweet, in a widely seen auction, it would go for more in that kind of condition (and the photo's to support it) I'd expect a high condition Sweet like this to get to $1,400.

The one think I dont get is it has one serious defect....that recoil pad. I would have expected the bidding to have slowed down around $750.

I probably would have paid $750 for it. But there were a couple of VERY serious bidders in the running so I got out.

That is a beauty, but the pad would stop me at about $750.
