I have a minty 16 gauge (of course) AyA 4/53 for sale. Typical 28" barrels, straight grip, splinter fore end. Weight is 6 lbs. 6 oz. LOP is 14 1/4"; DAC is 1 1/4"; DAH is 2 1/4". Made in 2004 and imported for Bill Hanus.
Still very tight. Wood is beautiful and in near perfect condition with just a tiny ding at the toe. Metal is likewise almost perfect. Case coloring is 100%. Have the original box, warranty card and sales receipt.
Used ones have recently been listed for $2400 - $2700 at Cabelas and such. My price is $1995 plus shipping and insurance to your FFL. Paypal or cashier's checks accepted. Photos available by email upon request.
Email (tveith@irtc.net) or PM me if interested.

Hi all, I can attest to Tom's gun. The wood on it has got to be seen, just stunning for a 4/53.
Also, Tom is a very nice guy who IMO will treat you right. If I had the $$ I'd buy it in a heart beat!!
All the best!!

Thanks Russ for bringing an oversight to my attention.
Chokes are quail 1/quail 2 -- same as skeet 1/skeet 2 (which I understand is like light mod).
There is cast off -- I'm not sure exactly how to measure, but I'd guess about 1/4". That is probably pretty close, as it is advertised with cast off of 3/16".
Barrels are mirror bright as well. I am also including the leather handguard that came with it.
Let me know if there are more questions.

I have one exactly like it, also with beautiful wood, made the same year. Great gun! The price is a steal. Bill Hanus is now asking $3100 for this gun. I paid $2200 two years ago for mine unfired in the box and felt like I got a good deal.

Tom,
Was out of town Fri-Sun hunting gambel's quail in AZ. Apparently I missed out on a great gun at a great price- been looking for one with good wood for over a year and a half. Please make me feel really, really bad and forward any pictures so I can have something to cry over when I come home from work and have a cold beer. I might even have to have two. |
