Mine came to the Bank today---believe me, the big box from Lonoke, Arkansas with the "Remington Arms" and logo sure did attract attention.... |

Does anyone know if the R16 can be safely substituted for the SP16 in a reload? I have a couple of 1 oz loads that I like but I don't like stuffing felt wads in the shot cup to build up the wad column.
Mine will probably get here tomorrow or Friday.
Let the loading commence. |

Art,
I have been told that you can safely substitute the R-16 when the data calls for the SP-16 with filler.

Generally speaking, swapping a wad of the same design, with a taller cushion section will tend to lower pressures. |

Lower pressure is good. Does lower pressure also translate to lower velocities? |

Got mine too! have not opened the shipping box yet, as I need to do some cleaning to get the bench switched over from pistol loading and over due gun cleaning. |

Bulk purchase direct from Remington through this dealer: http://www.recobstargetshop.com/ who is now selling them online.
Minimum order is 5000 lot case. Perhaps you can find others to split a case. |
