Friend of mine bought one last season. He likes it after using it for 1/2 the season.
The wood is very plain but it's a great 16ga SxS for the $$$.

I've got 2. One in 16 and one in 12. 2000 rds and 1500 through them respectfully. The 12ga is a "cz" import ringneck and the 16 is a 200ac Huglu (same as the ringneck except mine has hard black chrome sideplates) from TR Imports. The DeHaan is also from the same manufacturer, but DeHaan "finishes" them out.

Mine works great, fits well, is well regulated and shoots the choke marked and while a little heavier, I would recommend it highly. I got mine to use as foul weather guns (black chrome vice blueing)

At TR Imports you can see what you are ordering first, if you aren't picking one up from a store front.

I have a couple of the Huglu SxS in 16 and got one for my daughter. I love them. For the price they can't be beat and they are sweet to shoot.

I recently bought a CZ/Huglu Bobwhite double in .410. Nowhere close to a 16, but I am very happy with the little wand ...

you might want to try the DEHAAN, its a slight upgrade from the CZ, which provides a cast off, toe out, as well as internally hardened items in the action,, i own one, can't wait to buy another or two.. basically the same money,

i'm 10 for 12 shots, with a authentic double witnessed on pheasants with it, made some other incredible shots as well instinctively, the bird i shot at and missed, i shouldn't have shot at anyway, too far.

anyway, if i was spending money towards a new user gun, i'd get the DEHAAN 16 OR 28 in a minute.

safe hunting, good shooting!

Hey there guys,

I had a CZ 28ga Ringneck and a Huglu/Armsco 20ga 201AC (same as the ringneck, just prior to CZ import). Excellent guns for the money, I would still have them if i didn't need some cash in a pinch. I thought there workmanship was top notch & handled like a dream.

A 16ga CZ Ringneck is a good buy. I have a newish one -- it's a little onna heavy side (so I use a shotgun sling), but it's a nice, shoot-all-day gun. I carry it all over & recommend it w/o reservation, which -- of course -- is not to say that there aren't plenty of other possibilities in a near price range that are also fine. It's not my favorite, but it's always close by. You'll be happy with it, which -- of course -- is not to say you would be unhappy with others, &c.
