I'm selling a pretty "Sweet," Sweet Sixteen. It is a skeet-choked 1953 gun in exceptional condition. In fact, I cannot bring myself to put it through the rough and tumble hunting I do when I have other guns that I don't mind messing up.
It has a 28" plain-matted barrel, and that desirable red tone wood with the deep rust blue. All original finish. No cracks.
$1200.00
Either PM me or you can call to discuss the gun at 608-769-5383

I can negotiate a "little'"and I'll cover the shipping.
You will be hard pressed to find one in this condition and of this vintage anywhere near this price. I am just getting my investment back and not looking to "score" a profit.
And you know me! |

It's a stunning gun from a perfect year, all the old style finish and a cross block safety too. The 28" plain barrel should be a about perfect handling, a little slower that a 26" but with a nicer swing.

Thanks Jeff! It's quite the specimen.
I'll leave on here for a while, then I might give it a whirl on gunbroker.com. |

Dave,
'53 was the year they phased in the speed load feature.
Is this one "speed" or "no speed"?
Beautiful gun, by the way!

Foursquare, it was built n the first half of 1953, so it does not have the speed load (2-piece carrier).
Guys, I have some PM's and phone messages, so be patient as I work my way through them in the order they were received. |

Sorry for any inconvenience, but I'm taking this gun off the block. Couple reasons. The main one is I spent some time looking at it last night and the gun is just too nice to let go. That and I really don't care for selling used guns over the net. Too much hassle, FFL's, shipping, running around, worrying, etc...
The money I would get for this gun would soon disappear, but I'm pretty sure I'd have some permanent regret. I just have to bite the bullet and put this pretty lady to use and not worry about the little honest wear that I might add to her.
Thanks for your interest. |
