Got a MEC 600JR outfitted for 16 ga. for Christmas. I've got a mess of Remington Game Load hulls that I'd like to cut my reloading teeth on.
Anyone know if these hulls are the same as the Remington SP hulls referred to in the reloading tables? Any powder/wad/wad spacer recommendations for 1 oz./7.5 shot loads in these hulls? |

wingmaster16,
Welcome to 16ga.com.
I can't add anything to reloading the 16, I have yet to reload the first hull. I do reload the 12, 20, 28, and .410 though.
I suggest you join the Low Pressure Group here. I'm sure someone here can help you with the proper procedure of joining.
Charles Hammack is on a venture with Downrange Manufacturing to get us a light wad for 3/4 and 7/8oz applications. Unless you can get a find on Remington's R16s, the SP16 is about all you'll find unless you go to Ballistic Products http://www.ballisticproducts.com/bpi_homepage/homepage.html and get their 16ga book.
Good luck on your new reloading experience.
And again, welcome to 16ga.com.
