I'm not an expert on Lefevers, but I don't think D. M. Lefever or Ithaca ever made Lefever trap singles in anything other than 12 bore. At least I've never seen one. Would be interested to know if they do exist. |

Yeah, I saw one a couple years ago--20ga. Would like to find another and make a project of it. |

I think he's referring to an Ithaca Lefever #2, They are marked " Long Range Field And Trap" and came in 12,16,20 and .410 bore.. Some had a solid raised rib.. The Ithaca Lefever #3 was the "Single Trap With Ventilated Rib" and, was available in 12 bore only.. And then there was the very rare D M Lefever Single Trap, made in Bowling Green Ohio. A 12 bore, pre-dating the Vent rib, also had a solid raised rib..MDC |
