Was at the local Cabela's today, needed some reloading supplies and noticed that some of the shot pirces at dropped considerable. #4,5, and 6's were $22.99 for 25 lb. bag. While 7 1/2"s, 8, and 9's were still at $49.99 a bag. The $22.99 a bag was from West Coast Premimum Shot, bag said Magnum shot, extra hard, made the only wall, drop chilled. |

Mag 6s are great for loading pheasant shells. Hope you picked up a bag or two.
Don't look for the more popular target sizes of shot to drop any time soon.
Best deal I've found is on Mag shot from Eagle brand at $35.00/25 lb bag, but we had to buy a ton of it. Dawson Enterprises in Ohio. |

David,
Wow, that's quite a difference! Which Cabelas? In Hamburg? I'm in Lancaster, PA, almost worth a drive for a coupla' bags of the hunting stuff.
Cheers,
R*2
Ps. Just picked up 25#'s locally from a guy who's making it for $25. Not perfect, but plenty hard and it's running 7 1/2 to 8 size, (.090" - .095") |
