Can anyone locally sell me some 1-ounce 16 gauge wads? I'd certainly make it worth your while for doing so; none of the big-box places stock 16 gauge wads, only 12, 20, 28 (!) and .410.
I just realized I'm either out or have hidden my stash so well that I can't relocate them, and I'm leaving for Kansas on Friday morning to hunt the weekend. In any case, I have none and can't purchase any locally via retail, so you guys are my only hope!
If I can appeal to anyone's emotional side, my only option would be to shoot a 12 gauge auto-loader
Please PM me here at the site or shoot me an email through my profile. I appreciate any assistance. |

Don't have any reloading components, but may be able to put you in touch with a contact in Kansas for some appropriate 16 ga. ammo...
PM me if interested!

I'm in Ohio and you're almost out of time, but I know how important it is to me psychologicaly to use a load I trust and a gun I like when hunting. For me, it takes away from the experience if everything is not right. You probably feel the same so I'll help you out. Kansas is too far to not shoot what you want. So, I'll take some wads to work with me today and ship them next day express on my lunch hour if you're willing to pay for the fast shipping. I'll pm you with my contact info. You'd better hurry!! Hope I can help. They'll be on their way today if I hear from you. |

I'd like to extend a heart-felt "thank you" to everyone who responded. Even out of state members offered to ship overnight and to defer payment until after I returned - you guys are great and the reason I always make it point to stop in here while perusing the 'net.
Colorado Paul contacted me this morning and being local, we met after work where he wouldn't accept payment for the wads, insisting my denomination was too large. Instead he stated that I owed him a beer - I certainly owe that at a minimum - let me know Paul, anytime you'd like.
Hopefully I'll have the opportunity to put these wads to good use this weekend on some late-season Kansas pheasant and quail - I'll post some pics when I return.
Regards,
Ryan |
