My name is Dan Printz.
I run/play at a business called "The Firing Pin"
I am first and foremost a Christian. I am a former Marine, a retired NC Highway Patrolman and I attended Piedmont Community College in Roxboro North Carolina where I graduated from their two (2) year gunsmithing course. "I have been in buisness since 2001, and I have always been interested in firearms/gunsmithing, and I think that Color Case Hardening or Case Color Hardening , Hot Bluing , Rust Bluing and Rust Browning is a work of art.
My web-site is: www.danthegunman.com
My e-mail is: dan@danthegunman.com |

Welcome to the site Dan.
Folks, I know Dan and shot with him and his son yesterday. They have now gotten the skeet bug I believe. Visit his site. His work is fantastic.
Dan, I'll see you at the Greensboro Gun Show Feb 9th or 10th, whichever the boss alllows.
I have a 20GA SxS I might get you to refinish the stock on....it's too blonde/light for my taste. A Larouna Sears Roebuck & Co. model.
If I decide to do it, I'll bring it to the show. |

Welcome aboard, Dan. As a former Tarheel with family members still there, I get to Old NC fairly often. I hope to see some of your work in person sometime.
Good verse choice from John 14. Also check John 5:24. An absolute new covenant and promise. Also John 15:11-17. Wonderful stuff!
Cheers!

Welcome Dan!
As someone who is retired, you are doing something really cool --learning to be an "old school" gunsmith!
Those are some really great pics on your website. We need a good smith around here!
