I have a choice. Is one better than the other on the Ched shell?

No, but I believe the low brass is cheaper.

I just place a cheddite order with Precision(much cheaper themBP) and was told it made no difference which is consistent with what I have heard over time. Ive always like the looks of low brass in upland loads. They are several dollars/500 then the others.

Hello Gunho :

Nice to see you here, glad you could make it .

The high brass is a thing of a bygone era , it was needed back when paper was the pricipal hull material , but today low brass is the way to go .

Resizes easier , ejects easier , just the way to go , just as strong no difference .

Nice to have you aboard .

Regards Charles

As Charles says, no difference in strength. I find my 9000 collet sizer "wrinkles" the upper portion of the brass, always seems to loose the "wrinkles" when fired. But I certainly wouldn't pay any more for high brass.

Good point. But if you use low brass you have an alibi when you miss.......
