They offer loaded 12, and 20g shells, and "kits" to load your own 12g loads(cheaper). Should only be used in barrels approved for steel shot.

I emailed them regarding developing 16g loads, and said they would consider it, but as of yet have only had a handful of inquiries.

OK I need some help from someone smarter than me. These guys say "183 pellets in 1 ounce of #7 TSS". Now #7 lead yields 300 pellets per ounce and measures .010 inches in diameter so is this stuff almost twice as heavy as lead and if so isn't that bordering on the density of depleted uranium? Not that depleted uranium wouldn't make one hell of a duck load.

1/2 as dense...close......

density;
lead=11.3g/cc or .0.41lb/cubic inch
tung.=18g/cc or 0.65lb/cubic inch
density ratio;
lead is 0.63 as dense as tung. (11.3[0.41] / 18[0.65])
relative pellet count;
300 (#7 lead pellets/oz) x 0.63 = 189 (#7 tung. pellets/oz)

the armed forces uses the depleted urainium in their toys...selfish bastards

not smarter than you, probably the contrary, just happen to know different stuff

take care, mike

Mike,
That was eye watering.... You must be one hell of a trivial pursuit player. Wink
