I am looking for a Browning Citori Upland Special 16 ga.
New or near new condition. I have the 12 ga and shoot it well.

I have a Gran Lightning in 16ga, but can't hit broadside of a barn with it.
I can either get it fitted, or buy an upland special.

I saw one at the Orvis gun room a couple of weeks ago. There is a thread on this site, "Guns for sale" forum, about this gun and another from a different poster.

Hello, give the guys in the Cabelas gun room a call. They preside over a vast collection of guns that are not advertised on the web sight, lucky bastards. Also, incase you're not familliar with some of the on-line sights for purchasing guns, look into these periodically;....http://www.gunbroker.com/........http://www.auctionarms.com/........http://www.gunsamerica.com/...I found my 16ga Upland Special on gunbroker, in fact there is a guy advertising both a 20 and 12 US right now on GB that for the longest time had a 16 matched with the group. I was watching the 16 for a while and it suddenly no longer was posted, no bidding or offers?!! maybe drop that guy a line and see if he still has the 16, you never know. GB and AA have "wanted to buy" areas on their sights that may be helpful. Good luck with the search, you can have mine....in 40 or so years.......but first you'll have to duke it out with my godson who can't keep his hands off it.

How much $ to convert the GL into an US? Careful who you divulge this idea to...they may form lynch mob. Laughing
