I would love to make the shoot, but it is held the same week end we are in Traverse City visiting family and friends. I have many friends from the U.P. that love this event and are always telling me to drive over from T.C. Unfortunately, I don't think I would be too popular with my better half.

My dad and I had planned to do it, but my second cousin is getting married in MN and so he bailed on me. I'll probably be painting the house or some wonderful activity and kicking myself in the rear all day. Who knows, maybe I'll make the trip.
FWIW, Gas in the west end of the UP is $4.19
