Hi- I have 9 Federal 16 gauge purple paper hulls- for the 2 and 3/4" chamber size I believe-they are 1 oz. loads with a light wax like coating and the brass bases are NOT split or cracked- shot size is No. 8-they are Montgomery-Wards revalation and come with the original box- and the retail when sold for all 25 was $2.19. I had a 16 gauge M12- a few years ago I traded it for a M12 3" Magnum Duck gun- we didn't get a dove season for long in MI-and quail are scarce- so my duck/goose hunting won out. That 16 M12 was a nice carrying gun-weighs about the same as an older (1932 mfg.) M12 20 I still use- where I live the selection on 16 shells is limited- Pigeon Grade!! |
