Xpert shells used the Wincheter AA16 compression formed hull. To be sure look inside the hull and it will be red with no sign that the base wad is a seperate component. The Cheddite Super X hull has a seperate plastic base wad that is gray or white plastic. The AA16 hull was also marketed as Dove and Quail, and Upland as well as Xpert. |

Thanks for the help. How about the polyformed hulls with the plastic base wad? Same thing, just a different description? |

Nope they are completely different being made up of three components. A straight walled tube, plastic disc (base wad) held together by a fold in the tube around the base wad with a metal (usually steel) head. |
