Xpert shells used the Wincheter AA16 compression formed hull. To be sure look inside the hull and it will be red with no sign that the base wad is a seperate component. The Cheddite Super X hull has a seperate plastic base wad that is gray or white plastic. The AA16 hull was also marketed as Dove and Quail, and Upland as well as Xpert.

Thanks for the help. How about the polyformed hulls with the plastic base wad? Same thing, just a different description?

Nope they are completely different being made up of three components. A straight walled tube, plastic disc (base wad) held together by a fold in the tube around the base wad with a metal (usually steel) head.
