Guy, your right about the sheep. We have a few hundred Rocky Mountain Sheep in the area . They are only a problem when they come down to the road to lick salt. We don't have the range maggot type to any extent. Thats one of the myths about Montana.

How old is old really depends on storage of ammo and components. I commonly shoot Remington and Winchester ammo from the 1950 to 1970 era with out a problem. The older paper hulls from the 1930-1940 have given me a dud or two. This is all shotgun ammo, I have used. I am pretty selective about condition and have had very good luck. Here in Montana we have pretty low humidity most of the time which may have helped in my successful usage of older ammo. My shotguns are also the more modern Berettas from the 1950-1970 generation. The oldest one is from 1933 and it's barrels are made of three ring krump steel. They are all 16 gauge of course.

As I studied the results of last week's election....
I think most of the sheep are now in Massachusetts!
Rumor out west here is that Barney Frank is their shepherd......
