Was just out reloading a few RBG empties. Came across several of the old style with an 8 point crimp. Brass is a tad higher so it takes more effort to resize, but damn do they crimp well. I skip the 6 point crimp starter station and go straight to the final crimp. They seem to hold up longer for reloading as well.
I'd just be happy if we could convince Remington to go back to the old 8 point style...

Not only were the RGLs with the 8 point crimp a pleasure to reload but as I remember they were a bit shorter than 2 3/4 inches and would eject reliably from older Model 12s and A5s. |

We have put up with that Remington black cheapo long enough!
We need a PURPLE STS from the big one that strays from "green" at times...
Eight point crimps of course!!!!!
