Hi,
I have been looking to buy the following ammunition:
16 ga 2 3/4" rifled slug
16 ga 2 3/4" #4 lead shot
16 ga 2 3/4" #4 buckshot
I somehow seem to be unable to find a place on the Internet that sells all three of these types of ammunition. I have checked some standards, like Cheaper Than Dirt, Midway, Sportsmans Guide, with no luck. Real stores, like Sportsman's Warehouse, also did not pan out. Can someone recommend a good place to buy?
Also, what is a good brand? If I were in Germany, I would buy Rottweil, but they don't seem to sell that here.
Thanks for the help in advance!

What's the difference between #4 lead and #4 buckshot? |

About 125 pellets to the ounce.

Try GUNBROKER.com. Use the three sorts under ammo, 16ga, 16 ga, and 16 gauge. I think you may find what you are looking for.

Dave both pellets are indeed lead.#4 lead shot-which is generically known as "birdshot" is .13 in diameter.No. 4 buckshot is intended for larger game(deer, coyote) and is generically known as buckshot. Diameter is .24 inch.Hope this clears up the question |

Have you considered rolling your own? IMO reloading really makes the 16ga shine. Give it some thought and good luck with your search, Mike |

Hi everybody,
Thanks for all the suggestions. Ableammo was the best place, since at least it sold two of the three loads I am looking for. I don't know too much about reloading, although I have a good friend who is an expert in it. But, for the expected number of times I will be shooting a coyote in the next few years, it may seem overkill.
I might just pick up a coyote-appropriate load when I am in Germany next time. The problem there is that you need a current hunting license, in addition to your gun license, to buy ammunition. Since I don't always bother to get a hunting license when I go there, I sometimes can't buy any ammunition.
Thanks for all the help!
