Horsing around today.
Looking for a load in 65mm-67mm hulls
So, what I ended up with was
Cheddite 65mm hull
17.5 grains Universal
3/4 oz of #8 shot
DR16 wad.
Could hardly tell you were even shooting. It didn't just smoke clays like the 22.5 Univ 7/8oz in the 2.75 did.
I did not pattern the load. Just shot some rocks. Like I said, broke them in pieces and chips, never smoked one.
I don't have any Green Dot, REX or PB on hand to experiment any further today. I think those are my next choices, especially the PB. |
