That auction, which is now re-listed, must be aimed at the folks who don't shoot their 16's much?
There should be a caution attached to his description: if you are loading these shotshells in a lightweight Citori, don't put the Remington shell in the bottom tube!!! |

On the subject of expensive 16ga shells, I went along to my club last week to be informed by other shooters that I'd just missed a guy who'd been shooting a 16ga, and that the empties were in the buckets at the trap range. Digging through the morass of 12ga Rio's et al, I collected about 50 green Rem/Peters hulls. Apparently the dude had payed $17/box for what I can only surmise was ancient stock from one of the local gunshops. He was NOT happy with burning up that much money in 2 15 minute rounds of wobble. If he ever returns, I may be able to pick up a cheap gun, .

My goodness, my collection of old 16 ga. shells are much older than those.
I must have a fortune. |

I've found a new side job! I can sell my factory loads in pairs! I wonder if I can earn enough to buy some land in the prairie pothole region? |
